A vassal state of the Kingdom of Valia, Adaria is ruled by the second son of the King of Valia as a means of both training and keeping him from eyeing the throne of Valia at the expense of the first born. This also creates a partial buffer against the Bayan Empire, with which they are not on the best of terms.
Zadardene River runs through the north of the principality, acting as a major means of transportation to and from the Kingdom of Valia, where the river runs into a large bay.
There are 20 burgs in 4 provinces in Adaria.
